Text & Image Changes

Sometimes you just need to change a little bit of text or update a couple image so that you can know your website is current and reflects who you are and what you do now. A few small changes like this are included in the package. We will thoroughly discuss any larger changes and I will get you a clear estimate. I can also give you a tutorial on how to make specific change so you can make them yourself in the future.

Secure, Update & Backup Everything

By the time we finish, your website will be current! Software will be updated, forms will work, it will be more secure and you will have a full, current backup of your website that you can store on your computer. There are some instances when more work will be needed. A theme or plugin may be abandoned by the developer and no longer receiving updates. In these cases I will recommend replacements and give a clear transparent estimate if you choose to hire me for that extra work. In most cases, however, all this can be included in this one initial package.

Live Editing & Tutorial via Zoom

We will connect on Zoom and discuss your goals and your list of changes and questions. Then we will proceed to fix, update & design on the spot. Live updates may include simple SEO adjustments, changing the color of backgrounds, buttons or text, trying a new font or fine-tuning spacing. If there are updates you want to learn to do yourself, I will walk you through them step by step and record the session so you can refer to it later.

Here’s How it Works:

Free 20 minute call to see if the package is right for you.
If it’s a fit, you make a deposit, and we schedule a zoom call.
On this call, we will discuss, in detail, what you want to accomplish and address any question or issues you need solved.
I copy your website so that the live site is untouched while I am doing the work.
On the backup site, I will update all the software, scan for malware, assess any issues and fix those that are part of the package.
I prepare a report covering the 8 key points outlined above. This includes suggestions for improved design, functionality, organization and ease of use.

We zoom again, look over your website together, discuss the report and any further questions that come up. I will make some fixes and design adjustments right there on the call. You get to see multiple color and spacing options in live-time and make choices on the spot!
I can also give tutorials for changes that you would like to be able to make on your own.
If there are any changes that go beyond the Refresh Package, we will discuss options and I will get back to you with an estimate.
I complete any updates or adjustments that didn’t happen live on the call.
You approve the changes on the backup website, I make them live and your Website Refresh Package is complete!
