The Exterminating Angel Press is an independent book publisher located in the Colestin Valley outside of Ashland. This was a technically challenging as well as visually rewarding project. I combined two blogs and an outdated Joomla site into a single, redesigned WordPress network site. The publisher is thrilled by the simple, elegant look and ease of use.
This is a site I just finished for a client who is very visually discerning and after several disastrous experiences with other designers, was looking for someone skilled in combining color. She is very pleased with the results and also appreciates that I was open to her suggestions and quickly implemented the changes she wanted. She had some beautiful photos to start with and together we chose more from stock photo sites.
The site is based on WordPress and has full shopping cart capabilities. It is easy to add new products or edit text and pricing.

Most of the pages were already up when I arrived. I created a custom theme to unify the look of the site and redesigned the layout of the pages, choosing just the right images for each page.
This is an artist portfolio site featuring an example of the artist’s work on the home page and another painting in the header. The page is white and so is the background. There are three galleries including one with work from the artists latest show.
A website for a Buddhist Meditation Center in Ashland, Oregon. The subtle background pattern makes this site warm and inviting, and the center director is thrilled that she can easily update the “Events” page herself.
I created this e commerce site from the ground up, designing a completely original look including logo design, original photography, product label design and all written copy.
A close-up of the artist’s work is featured in the header. A multi-talented artist, Sally needed three separate galleries for drawing, painting, and sculpture. She asked for a dark background to showcase her images.
This site shows visitors what this charming rental has to offer and includes an attractive photo gallery, a calendar which is easily updated by the cottage owner to show cottage availability.
